For Parents
You were given news about your baby that you never expected to hear. Whatever the diagnosis, and whether it is certain or still unclear, your baby’s life is valuable, and you do not have to face what comes next alone.
A Parent Care Coordinator Walks With You
When you reach out, you will talk with one of our nurses, who can help you decide whether parent care coordination is right for your family.
A Parent Care Coordinator offers practical guidance, information, and referrals to help you understand what is normal, what is possible, and what might be helpful as you carry to term. Your coordinator can help you prepare birth and newborn care plans and will continue to support you for one year following your baby’s birth.
Our services are free.

It Is Okay to Feel What You Feel
A prenatal diagnosis can be shocking, even traumatic. You may feel disbelief, grief for the pregnancy you imagined, worry about your baby’s health, or guilt about things you could not have controlled. These are natural responses.
Be gentle with yourself. Take one step at a time, and remember that you do not have to have everything figured out today.
